Casa de Castro is situated in the authentic Spanish village ‘La Puebla de Castro’, at approximately 60 kms. south of the Pyrenees mountains.The house has tastefully decorated apartments and rooms, with a lot of the ancient details (the house was built around 1850) still preserved. At the same time they are fitted with modern time luxury; all the ingredients necessary for a splendid holiday, either relaxed or adventurous.
There are a lot of possibilities for entertainment around La Puebla de Castro, such as walking, byking, mountaineering, rafting, canyoning, canoeing, swimming etc. About 60 kms north of La Puebla there are two national parks, Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido en Parque Nacional d'Aigües Tortes I Sant Maurici. South of La Puebla is Zaragoza, the capital of the Aragon province. The nearest airport is also in Zaragoza. A three hour drive eastbound will take you to Barcelona.
For those amongst you who enjoy hiking there are various challenging routes starting in La Puebla de Castro or in the surrounding of our village.
In the village are two little shops, a pub, a swimming pool (July - August), a tennis court and a playground for children. You can have access to the internet in our reception and pets are welcome.
